Have your love locked at your wedding!
There are a number of ways to incorporate the traditional art of lovelocking into your big day, from the beautiful and elegant, to quirky and fun! Here are a few ideas we have seen and love!
1: Ask your wedding guests to bring a Lovelock with them as their gift to celebrate your wedding.
Display a chain somewhere at your venue and your guests can affix their gift Lovelocks to the chain throughout the day. This can be kept as a lasting memento and as a reminder of the people who celebrated your love!
You can hang this somewhere in your home, or even in your garden wrapped around a tree or on a gate or gazebo. Super quirky and great fun!

2: The Tree of Life: Lovelocks can be incorporated into a wedding ceremony using the beautiful Tree of Life.
Following the words of a dedicated script, your Lovelock is placed in the central position on the tree, with optional Lovelocks added to the roots to represent your parents. If you have children, their locks can be added to the branches.
This idea is especially beautiful for blended families, to represent the combining of the family unit in one family tree. Over the years together, locks can be added to the tree to mark births, anniversaries or any other meaningful events.
3: As wedding favours. Present each set of guests with a Lovelock, which they can then affix on your special day.
You may be getting married nearby one of the well known Lovelock sites in the world, such as Ponts des Arts in Paris, or your venue may have their own Lovelock area on site that you can enjoy and return to year on year. Some examples are Harveys Point Hotel in Donegal, and Oaklands Hall Hotel in Lincolnshire.
